We went and saw Santa on Saturday and as you can see we had some that loved it, some who hated it and some who thought the were to cool and old to be seeing Santa. Can you guess who is who?
Drew couldn't believe I was making him still do this and I said plan on it til you go on your mission! Brooklyn gets a thrill still seeing Santa! Baylee on the other hand does not like anyone that she hasn't previously met, and sometimes she still takes a while to warm up. She was not having anything to do with Santa. We are lucky we got this pic! Jax is just to young to understand what is going on so he just smiles because he is always smiling!

Santa BABY!

Santa baby otherwise known as Jaxsen. Is that little outfit not cutest little thing you have ever seen! My mother-in-law found it. I think it was my nephew Max's who is now 15. It was a little big but we are running out of time for him to wear it so we stuck it on!

Santa baby and one of his elves!

Putting up the Christmas Tree 2009

The kids had a great time putting up the Christmas tree with papa! Especially Jax! He had to be right in there helping with every step. It has been hard for me and the fact that we don't have a home of our own to spend the holidays with our children. But as you can see Papa and Grandma are making them feel apart of it all! I am just thankful that we have good family that allows us to stay with them.
Drooling Jax helping the best he can!

Kids have the camera now!

Look who got ahold of Nattie's camera! She looks so innocent but don't be fooled! She has everyone fooled!

Brooklyn's Highland Dance Camp

Brooklyn got go to dance camp her cousin Jill up at Highland. She really quite enjoys doing these things. It started at 1:30 in the afternoon and and then that evening she performed in the JV boys basketball game and the Varsity boys basketball game. I wasn't able to catch the JV but Val took some great pictures for me! Before they performed at the game they judged each group and picked to girls from each group and gave them an award for being the two best performers in their groups. Brooklyn was one of them! I am so proud of my little lady and the awesome dancer she is becoming!

Baylee turns two!

Baylee and mommy with cookie monster cake

Opening presents with everyone around
(Glad grandma and grandpa Mortensen were there!)

Baylee with her baby stroller. She didn't want to go to bed she was having to much fun!
Brooklyn got some new boots from Grandma Mortensen. She was having a hard time that Baylee got presents and people took pictures of her and not Brooklyn. Oh my little drama QUEEN! Always thinks she needs to be front and center!

Baylee turned two yesterday! She is growing up so fast. Just in the last two weeks she has really expanded her vocabulary! She is trying to say anything and everything! I took her for her two year appointment and she is 27lb (50%), 34in (50%) and a 100% head circumfirance. She is my tiny lady with a big noggin! That's ok more room for all those brains! She is such a smart little girl, she amazes me!
For her birthday she wanted babies! Lots of babies. And that is what she got. At first she wasn't sure what was going on but caught on pretty quickly! We made her a cookie monster cake. She loves Seasme Street. And I love the way she says cookie (cooo-keee). We were so glad for all those who were able to come!

Grandma's Funeral

Mom and Andrew

We had Grandma Denison's funeral on Saturday the 14th of November. Boy was it a cold day. My grandpa said that when he dies he wants a grave side funeral and for it to be about 20 degrees colder and see how many people show up. That is grandpa for you. Laurie and Lucy spoke and they did a great job. We had many people show up and got to see many family members that we haven't seen in a long time. I think Grandma would have been very proud. How greatful I am for gospel in my life and that I know I will see her again.

Today at 6 am my grandma passed away! She was 80 years old and lived quite a life! She was always so active in her church callings and loved to serve others! Her and my grandpa served 3 different missions! On her last mission is when she lossed her sight. She was given the option of ending their mission early, but she refused and dealt with those challenges of being without her sight so coragiously! Never once did you hear her complain. She could still cook up a storm with only a few challenges! I remember a few years ago my Andrew was in helping her cook one Sunday. She was making cooked carrots and went to put salt in and put just a tad too much in. Andrew watched her do it and hurry and grabbed the pot and rinsed them out so we would all still enjoy the carrots!
Her and Andrew had a very special relationship and always called her grandma. The first time he met her was after she lost her sight. I had taken him to my aunt Lauries house to meet them. When she went to meet them she got within inches of his face so she could meet him. Andrew just laughed about it!
She loved to play games and still could beat the pants off of you even without her sight. She would get quite mad if you didn't pay attention to your turn.
Just a few weeks ago I went up there to spend some time with. She asked if someone would put lotion on her legs. I quickly volunteered. My mom said that we got our nice legs from grandma. I told grandma thanks for giving me nice legs, she quietly said "You bet!"
I remember when we were younger we used to go up to Washington where they lived. We would stay there for about a week and swim everyday. Grandma would always get out there and swim with us. I think she taught everyone of us to swim. She tried to teach us how to dive but I could never get the hang of it.
My grandma had such a strong testimony of the gospel. She was very much an example to all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren! She will be very missed!
I LOVE YOU GRANDMA!

Halloween 2009

Today we had big plans for things to do today and not much panned out- OH WELL. We did have a good day relaxing and getting ready for Halloween. This year Drew was at his mom's house :( so the first pic is from our ward party which Drew got to go to with us! He was a gangster, and pretty cool one too!
We were able to go down three streets and trick or treat. Andrew and Kendra brought their little niece Cheyanne over and took her with us. I think the kids got a lot of candy and had so much fun! Brooklyn after each house kept saying "Can we go to just one more house" like she was afraid we were going to stop. Hope everyone had a good Halloween!
Happy Halloween
Love these two!

Jaxsen in the past few weeks has just taken off. I sure before we know it he will be up on is knees! Anyways I finally caught it on video. Sorry about my annoying voice!

Look what I can do!

Is that not the cutest little guy you have ever seen! I just want to eat him! He can now sit up all by himself and he loves to stand! He continues to be such a happy baby! We love him so much!
Look how big those kid's hands are!
I told you he loves to stand!
We see you Nattie and your undies too! HA HA!

1st day of Preschool

Daddy and Brooklyn on their way to preschool!
We are on our way!
Another cute pic!
Brooklyn started preschool on September 9th. Her teacher is Mrs. Kathy (Kathy Miles). She was so excited the day of preschool. She made sure her and Baylee had a good lunch because she didn't want to be hungry at school. Daddy had to come home and see her go to her first day of preschool. On the way up asked if this preschool was a reputable school, I assured him it was! The night before we had to go get her a new backpack. The one mommy picked out wasn't cool (black, pink and white) she needed a princess one. She settled on a Tinker Bell one.
