Well I have 3 weeks until they take me off the meds and heck breaks lose. No just kidding but my docs have informed me that they will have me on the meds until the 10th of February and then take me off. They have my c-section scheduled for the 20th of February but don't think I will make it that far. The meds haven't completly stopped the contractions but made them most days barable. That is if the one taking them completly complies with what her docs say. Which sometimes has not happened. I get so stinking bored that I think just a quick trip to Walmart while riding in the motorized wheelchair (which by the way my sister says I suck at) is ok and by morning I am so much pain I pass out. So like I said I am slowly learning my lesson.
Andrew has been such a trooper! Living at my parents house I thought was going to break him and we were going to have a few melt downs but really things have been ok actually better then ok. He hangs out with me when he gets home from work, helps my mom with dinner, helps with the kids and usually doesn't really leave my side until he goes to bed. I am so proud of him. We have both had some pretty good trials this past month and we have come to the discision that we were given these trials to help us grow closer together as a couple which I definatly see happening. Which makes me so happy!
Anyways that is my latest update. I would love to hear from anyone. Leave me a message or give me a call. Our home phone has been forwarded to my cell so if you have a sec give me a call!

I'm glad that you're doing okay. You're a strong person. Not that much time left and it'll all be over. isn't it interesting how we see so many blessing come from our trials? Good luck with everything...and Listen to you doctor you crazy! Take Care!
ReplyDeleteOh, Courtney! I'm so sorry things have been so rough with this pregnancy!! I'm so glad to hear that you have some extra help and that Andrew is being so wonderful. What a difference those things can make. I'll be calling you soon. Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteHey Courtney,
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are doing ok! It will all be worth it once you have that little guy in your arms! Just hang in there, they are so worth everything :) It's wonderful you have such a good support system with your parents and Andrew. It's rough now but it will be over before you know it!
Courtney,
ReplyDeleteYou poor thing!!! I know exactly how you feel because I went through the same thing with my last baby but he decided to come five weeks early anyways and then spent 11 days in the NICU. NOT FUN!!!! Anyhow, I know it gets boring but try to take it easy as possible. It is what is best for you and the baby. I know it's not easy with little ones running around but that' why we've got husbands and moms. Stay off your feet and let me know how things are going.
Courtney-
ReplyDeleteI have been so bad at checking up on you!! I had no idea that you were in such bad shape. Apparently your little guy knows what he wants and wants it now! Let me guess...that is the Andrew in him?!?! Anyway, hang in there. I am glad you have family close by to help out. I bet Brooklyn is loving being at your mom's. Listen to your doctor...even though it is boring...just think in a few weeks you will be begging to sit down and rest for a few minutes!!
It was fun to play games up there last weekend! I hope things go well with you and the baby and that you get to be less bored soon! :) Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteHang in there. The end is in sight. (And no more trips to Wal-Mart.)
ReplyDeleteOur thoughts and prayers are with you.
